| Flap Disintegrates During Surgery |
|
In this video a LASIK flap disintegrates when lifted by a surgeon. Studies have shown that the flap adheres weakly to the underlying stroma, making it possible to lift flaps many years after patient's original surgery. This flap, however, was shredded and had to be completely removed.
On October 9, 2006 Glenn Hagele distributed a report titled Lasik Safer Than Contacts in an effort to encourage more people to undergo LASIK. |
